Kenyatta University scores big on the global stage

Dr Jane Kamau of the Department of Exercise, Sports and Science has been appointed to the prestigious UNESCO Chair in Inclusive and Sustainable Physical Education and Sports for a four-year term.Speaking after the appointment, Dr Kamau said:
“I reaffirm my commitment to promoting inclusivity in sports and physical education, giving equal opportunities to all – especially persons living with disabilities.”She added that her focus will be on creating accessible programmes, strengthening policy frameworks, and ensuring no one is left behind in sports development across Kenya’s diverse communities.
