Healthcare Boost as Nairobi Outpatient Gulf Hospital launched in Githurai

Githurai residents have received a major healthcare boost following the launch of a new Outpatient Gulf Hospital branch, unveiled by CEO Grace Muthuma, who reaffirmed her strong commitment to preventing maternal deaths and improving health outcomes for families in the area.

Speaking during the launch and inspection of the new facility — located just a few meters from the Thika Superhighway — Muthuma highlighted the hospital’s growing capacity and its readiness to deliver high-quality, reliable medical services. She noted that the institution now offers advanced orthopaedic services, supported by qualified medical staff, state-of-the-art equipment, and a fully functional theatre.

Muthuma praised the healthcare team as excellent, dedicated, and fully prepared to serve the Githurai community with professionalism and compassion. She emphasized that strengthening maternal healthcare remains a top priority for the organization and pointed to ongoing investments in infrastructure, staffing, and specialized services aimed at saving lives and ensuring families receive the quality care they deserve.

The CEO also encouraged residents to register with the Social Health Authority (SHA), noting that the new Gulf Hospital branch fully accommodates the SHA cover to make healthcare more affordable and accessible.

During the launch of the hospital’s sixth branch, Reverend  Mirugi Dishon welcomed the development, applauding the hospital’s commitment to serving humanity. He urged community members to embrace voluntary medical check-ups to promote early detection and improve long-term health outcomes.

With the new facility now operational, Githurai residents can expect expanded access to essential healthcare services and strengthened support for mothers, families, and patients seeking specialized treatment. The launch marks a significant milestone in advancing community healthcare and reinforcing the hospital’s mission to save lives and enhance well-being.
