Babu Owino Honoured at Starbrands East Africa Awards 2025


The Embakasi East Member of Parliament has been recognised at the Starbrands East Africa Awards 2025 for his outstanding service and impactful leadership.

During the gala event held in Nairobi, the legislator received the “Star MP of the Year 2025” award, an honour presented to leaders who demonstrate excellence in public service, innovation, and community transformation.

Dressed in a beige suit, the MP took to the stage to receive both a trophy and a framed certificate, expressing gratitude to constituents and supporters for their continued confidence in his leadership.

He noted that the award serves as motivation to continue championing development initiatives in Embakasi East, including Education ,youth empowerment, improved public service delivery, and infrastructure projects.

The Starbrands Awards celebrate individuals and institutions making significant contributions across East Africa, with this year’s event attracting leaders from diverse sectors.
